In our nearly 250-year-old Hollóházi Porcelain Manufactory, 2026 marks the first year we have selected and announced a Color of the Year from the palette of colors traditionally used in our creations. Our aim is to inspire and assist our customers in choosing porcelain pieces that complement their homes or make meaningful gifts.
From now on, each year, a selected porcelain piece—whether a classic form from our heritage or a newly designed creation—will be produced in a limited edition, featuring that year's chosen color as part of its decoration.
For 2026, we have chosen Spearmint as our Color of the Year.
Spearmint, a fresh, light green-blue hue, evokes a sense of freshness and purity, enriched by the calming qualities traditionally associated with green. It symbolizes new beginnings, growth, optimism, and renewal, while also representing health, creativity, and openness. In interior design, mint conveys a feeling of serenity, clarity, and spaciousness, bringing a peaceful atmosphere to any setting.
For its inaugural year, our Color of the Year has been introduced on a collection of limited-edition vases.
